A FRIDAY TO REMEMBER

The world needs to know Lauren + Larry. They are literally some of THE MOST sweet, genuine people I have ever known. Let me just put it this way — this was the first wedding I photographed postpartum, and they were SO THOUGHTFUL that when I arrived, they had a sweet baby gift for me — ON THEIR OWN WEDDING DAY. My jaw dropped!!! What in the world?! This is your wedding day and you thought about me?! Oh goodness. It’s too much. They are so, so kind. So that’s just a tiny itty bitty little snippet of their hearts… always focusing on others… even on a day that’s entirely about them.

One of my absolute favorite moments from their wedding day — honestly probably one of my top favorite moments EVER from a wedding — was their first look. Larry was so handsome, anxiously waiting out in the field for his beautiful bride. When I was walking with Lauren to the first look spot, she was all smiles, shaking, and so incredibly excited. “Whenever you’re ready” I nodded, and Lauren smiled, took a deep breath, and gently tapped Larry on the shoulder. When he turned around, immediately his jaw dropped, hands flew together over his mouth and he gasped “OH MY!” He was absolutely FLOORED at how FREAKING STUNNING his bride was. He could not stop telling her just how beautiful she was, shaking his head in awe, holding her, smiling… oh my goodness, it was literally the best.

Ugh. You guys, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy scrolling through this beautiful, loving wedding day…. the most perfect friday in September.
